POSITION:                           Cybersecurity Engineer

OFFERED SALARY:             $130,000-$136,000 per Year

Job Description:

Evaluate the security of web applications by identifying vulnerabilities, conducting penetration testing, and ensuring compliance with security standards. Work with and apply cybersecurity standard methods to provide secure systems. Assist with scanning, monitoring, and reporting on system vulnerabilities. Help plan and deploy web application security counter measures for the protection of clients. Work closely with the information security office in the surveillance of users, software and network assets for appropriate use and enterprise-wide protection. Remain abreast of information security and cybersecurity trends relevant to our clients’ operations and system security. Communicate and coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and information security technical specialists. Participate in information security related technical discussions both internally and externally. Develop and present information security briefing materials to internal teams and externally, as needed to ensure client needs are met.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:   Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or closely related quantitative discipline plus six (6) months of experience as a security engineer, information security analyst or cybersecurity analyst.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The six (6) months of experience with the following: HP Web Inspect; identifying and documenting OWASP Top 10 security risks; web application vulnerability assessments, threat modeling and code reviews; Javascript; Powershell; Wireshark; OWSAP ZAP; Kali Zip; Burp Suite; security assessments with SAST and DAST.
